U. he was Presiding Elder of the Houston District of the blethodist Church. He has raised the standards of scholar- ship so that the school now receives more A. B. men than ever before. VVILLIAM FREDERICK HAUHART 'Director of the School of Commerce A. B., Missouri, 1901, A. M., 1902, Ph.D., Columbia, 1909. In 1921, when he was called by S. M. U., Dean Hauhart was .Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan. He has been largely responsible for the admittance of the Commerce School to the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business. ELZY DEE JENNINGS 'Deon o f the School of eflrts and Sciences A. B., Randolph, 1900, H. B., Texas, 1913, A. M., 1913, Ph.D., 1924. Dean Jennings was Vice-President of Texas WOmHI1,S College prior to his coming to S. M. U. in 1922.
