During this period this work has heen under the direc- tion of Layton NY. Hailey. 'llhis olhce collects and dishurses all funds controlled hy the L'nii.'ersity in- cluding tuition charges, dormitory fees and the student hlanket tax. Uishurse- ments are made from the general fund to cover expenses of the llniversity proper and the expenses of the dining halls are paid from separate accounts. 'l'he stu- dent puhlications, 'l'he Rotunda and the Senii-Nleekly Campus, as well as many campus organizations are paid for hy this oflice from the student hlanliet tax. .X suhdivision of this ollice, the purchasing department, does all the huying for the L'niversity and hy erlicient selection is ahle to eilect many economies. A titer the Purchased materials are delivered to the storeroom, department heads are ahle to ohtain them hy filling out requisition hlanlqs and sending them to the purchasing agent.
