In CjWemorz'am LARRY W. HOPKINSON July 20, 1941 -January 20, 1963 Larry Hopkinson was a native of Dixtield, Maine and graduated from Dixfield High School in 1960. He enrolled in the lndustrial Electricity course at MVTI in September of 1961. Larry proved both an interested student and an active participant in school life. In his freshman year, Larry was a member of the Skating Rink Committee and the softball, volleyball, and soccer teams. This year he was again engaged in soccer, and was a member of the Yearbook Staff, Alumni Committee, and Awards Committee. The Dormitory Council of Varney Hall elected Larry their President this year. Larry Hopkinson became the victim of an automobile accident while on his way home for the weekend, and his loss has been deeply felt on campus. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Marguerite Hopkinson, and a brother and sister. 10

JAMES D. WILES- President DENNIS M. GARDNER - Vice President OFFICERS - CLASS 0F 1963 It seems impossible that we, the graduating class of 1963, will soon be gone. We leave behind us two years of learning which has marked only the beginning of a carefully chosen future. It has been a long, hard journey for those of us still together, but well worth the fight. For it was only yesterday that we stood together as strangers and listened as Mr. Hutchinson gave us some well chosen advice. Shake hands with the person on your right and then with the person on your left. The records show that one of every three who register does not graduate. Don't let that one be you. We hope that the graduating classes to come will profit by these words as we have. I would like to thank all my classmates for giving me the opportunity to serve as your President.
