Barbara has a quiet, soft voice and a win- some smile that can drive a dog to drink. She loves to dance, watch basketball games, and twirlabaton. Barb's future plans include obtain- ing a secretarial position as recep- tionist and stenographer. RONALD HOMER WIMMER General Everything quiet? Percy must be engaged in his favorite hobby ---- sleeping! Ronaldisa shy lad with a talent for chess and top- notch science experiments. Ron is also quite an ace with a rifle, and has beena member of the rifle club in previous years. He has no definite plans for the future, but his interests draw him toward a college edu- cation. 62

LINDA MARIE WEBBER Straight Academic Linda, the faithful trombone player in our band, the actress in our class plays, the friend of all, can always be seen bustling about the hallways on some errand to help one of her many friends. She plans to follow in the medical footsteps of her father, for her post-graduate plans include nursing and speciali- zing in a particular field. '1- FREDERICK GRJM WEBER Straight Academic Let it up to Fred to find the loophole in some long-established theory! He is the one to suggest a new idea, the one to work hard at a task, the one to do a job and make a success out of it. The idea of having a student director for class plays was Fred's. The success of our Junior Class Play is an example of Fred's hard work. Fred is a member of chess club and supports good music. 'ff' ev JOYCE DIANE WERKHEISER Secretarial Can't you go any faster? That's Sis taking shorthand. This gifted lassie has already attained a remarkable speed in her first year of shorthand. Jo is a follower of horse races. In her spare time Sis listens to records--rock'n roll, of course, goes to movies, and plays baseball. Besides all these interests, Jo participates in the band. Her ambition for the future is to be a secretary somewhere in the South.

CAROL ANN ZERFASS Secretarial A good sense of humor is one of Carol's prominent assets. On the serious side, however, Carol has received an award for her ability in shorthand. Her spare time is taken up by collecting stereo records. The proud possessor of a '58 Chevy convertible, Carol can often be seen going to and from senior band practice after having a work out with her clarinet. Upon graduation, Carol hopes to secure a position in the secretarial field. MARGARET ANNE ZIMMER Liberal Academic To Marge goes the distinction of being the last of the seniors, alphabetically, that is! Noted for being a volunteer and a good worker, Marge finds time to sing, read, dance, drive a '53 Pontiac, and take part in Church work. Whew! She is one of the few seniors in captivity who took Spanish I 8: II. She is also one of several seniors contem- plating teaching as a profession.
