ANNA MARIA WALLITSCH General Some people are musically in- clined, some athletically inclined, others like Anna, are just inclined. Musically, Ann's been a chorus member since way back when. Ath- letically, she ice skates in winter, plays basketball, swims in summer, and dances the year round. When she's not dancing, she's reading. Ann's inclined to be friendly, too. She has a real talent for making and keeping friends. Her interest in people might steer her towards practical nursing. 7 -f LEROY DAVID WALLANDER Liberal Academic Dave is a musician, Dave is a soloist, and Dave has got a laugh that is way out. Personable and firm in his opinions, he is a doub- ling individualist. Wallander has the ability to make the illogical seem logical and vice versa. He wears a perpetually bewildered look in French class. After several years of flying into the wild blue yonder, Dave hopes to enter a school of cosmetology. 60 BARBARA CATHERINE WALBERT Liberal Academic Big blue eyes and a creamy complexion, a gentle voice with a hearty laugh heard at the most un- expected times comprise Barb. Her presence at a committee meeting, or in a group isaguarantee of live- ly times. Her sparkling personality fits all occasions from the sports events she loves to attend, to ice skating and singing. Barb aspires to Florence Nightingale's pro- fession. Y , 1

JEROME Tl-IERYN TREXLER Academic 'Jerry's blond crew cut, deep masculine voice, and winning smile attract many female admirers, but more than these are displayed when he arrivesfirst at the finish line in many of Solehi's cross -country meets. Excelling in everything, from sports to acting, he never-the- less finds time for his academic studies. His future plans include four years of college during which he hopes to be enrolled in N.R.O.T. C. followed by a four year stretch in the Naval Corps. . ' -1134, :Q Q 3, G.. ,'r::-- R f ALLEN MILTON UHL General Industrial Uh1y nicknamed by his fellow classmates, is a very comical character. You can usually see him racing around the countryside in his '53 Plymouth or trying to fix someone else's car. Allen is a member of the Rifle Team and has received a letter. His post-high school plans are either to enter Millersville State Teachers College, or to join the Navy. 63 ,,,, lf' 59 , 'A Q--v' DENNIS PAUL UHL Clerical Denny, the comedian of the clerical section, sets the class in an uproar with his unneeded re- marks and his peculiar laugh. Be- sides working at the Starlight Drive - in Theater and talking to girls, Denny is a good shot l?J with a rifle. As for Denny's future, time will find him swabbing a deck or captain of an atomic sub, and pro- bably with a girl in every port.

LINDA MARIE WEBBER Straight Academic Linda, the faithful trombone player in our band, the actress in our class plays, the friend of all, can always be seen bustling about the hallways on some errand to help one of her many friends. She plans to follow in the medical footsteps of her father, for her post-graduate plans include nursing and speciali- zing in a particular field. '1- FREDERICK GRJM WEBER Straight Academic Let it up to Fred to find the loophole in some long-established theory! He is the one to suggest a new idea, the one to work hard at a task, the one to do a job and make a success out of it. The idea of having a student director for class plays was Fred's. The success of our Junior Class Play is an example of Fred's hard work. Fred is a member of chess club and supports good music. 'ff' ev JOYCE DIANE WERKHEISER Secretarial Can't you go any faster? That's Sis taking shorthand. This gifted lassie has already attained a remarkable speed in her first year of shorthand. Jo is a follower of horse races. In her spare time Sis listens to records--rock'n roll, of course, goes to movies, and plays baseball. Besides all these interests, Jo participates in the band. Her ambition for the future is to be a secretary somewhere in the South.
