P.T.A. CANDY SALE The students at Southern junior High were asked to participate in the P.T.A. candy sale. The sale was to raise money so that the P.T.A. could buy some- thing for the school. ART AND TYPING Right: 7th grade Art class illustrating a poem. Typing students are constantly trying to improve their speed and cut down on their mistakes. Music is played to help the students get the feel of typing. Mrs . Hatcher demonstrating the correct technique in water color painting. The lunch room boys take time out from their work to pose for this picture . YEL' The Art classes use a Variety of art techniques in their classes. They use water color, ink, crayons, chalk, char coal, paper-mache, and finger painting. The l963-1964 REBEL was well received. We hope that you like this l964-1965 yearbook as well. The End
