The distinction of courses is much more evident and there is much preparation for the important years to come. The sophomore class of 1968-69 was fully aware of what lay in the future for them. Preparing for college tests to come, interested sophomores took practice Merit Scholarship tests. The class felt to be ready for theirprom next year, they should begin now to provide a solid foundation in their treasury. Egg sales, bake sales, and sponsorship of buses to away games were among the sophomores many activities to raise money. 80
