Dale Sipc, Mary Teel, Karen Payne, Boyd jones, Heidi Crillith, Krislie Graham, Mike Allen, john Lowe, Donnn McDonald, Loretta Tnmer, Sharon Bast, Iva Io Cox, Scott Miller, Richard Philips, Gail Leitch, Eighth Grade The eighth grade started 1967168 expecting to make it a successful year for the junior high, and they succeeded. Scott Miller, President, and Mr. Cates, advisor, led the Student Council in its many pursuits. It ran the assemblies, the Christmas food drives, and the sale of the school pictures. Three officers were elected from each homeroom, that aided in homeroom aifairs. 96 Leading the list of activities the eighth grade participated in were the junior high band and chorus. The majorettes grew from three to six members, the majority from class of '72. South- ern should be proud of the eighth grade for all of their achievements.
