This was made possible under the Capable leadership of Mr. Desmond Downey, President, Mr. W.E. Rice, Vice Presi- dent, Mr. Chester Poe, Secretary, and Mr. Jim Blake, Treasurer. Because of the interest and numer- ous money-making proiects of the So- High Club, Mr. Charles Chewning was able to dedicate the Southern athletic field in November, during the halftime of a football game.
