Wafiona onor .Sbciefy The nine old members ofthe Honor Society, inducted January l, 1959, are pictured above. They are Wallace Daniel, Phyllis Mitchell, Ruth Couch, Linda Perry, Sarah Auman, Tanya Upchurch, Jane Silver, Jon Jones, and Kenneth Stallings. The four characteristics of the National Honor Society are Character, Scho- larship, Leadership, and Service. The students who are outstanding in these qualities are bestowed with one of the highest honors in their school careers. The members, who are selected by the faculty, must have a minimum scholastic average of ninety. Pictured below are the members of the society.
