SECOND ROW: Coach Swanger, Charles Harris, Don Owen, Eddie Tice, and Crofton Mitchell. Pictured at right is L.M. Draper, Manager. Starting a new season under a new coach, our baseball team loolced promising as always. A small measure of defeat was included in those first victories, but after the perfect player for each position was found, the team began to show its strength. We realized that we had a team to talk about, but few, if any, foresaw the boys' being recognized as best of their class in North Carolina. To all the fellows responsible for the winning of the l96O State AAA Baseball Champion- ship, we give our congratulations and appreciation. SCOREBOARD Southern ll ........ ........
