FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA The main purposes ofthe Future Homemakers of America are growing in appreciation of homemaking and farthering interest in home economics. This year one of the activities was a mother-daughter banquet which was held in Mav. Promoting character and worthy leadership are the maior aims of the organization. The Future Farmers of America strive to develop their homes and communities. One of their proiects for the year was selling ice cream at recess. '97 EUTURE TEACHERS OE AMERICA The Future Teachers ot America be- gan its year by presenting an assembly program for National Education Week. During this program various teachers were acknowledged and presented with humorous gifts. ln February, the Northern High School Chapter ot the E.T.A. was honored at a tea in our high school library. Miss Clay spoke to the group about scholarship possibilities. A picnic at Duke Park climaxed the year's activities.
