SCENE III BUSINESS TYPING I The Typing I classes have enioyed a year studying basic techniques for typing. Besides learning the keyboard, tabulation and correct procedure for typing, business letters were also put into practice. SHORTHAND Correct spelling and grammar were emphasized in shorthand class as well as the basic fundamentals of short- hand forrns and transcription. ie.. BOOKKEEPING The students in this class study how to keep an elementary or simple set of books. The aim is to teach stu- dents enough, so they can be employed as a bookkeeper.
