XVe have grown into educational adulthood without being fully aware of our stature or status .... XVC are not only a highly organized group, bttt also an institution that throttgh the years has won approval, high esteem, and deep love of many citizens in our community, an instittttion that has become greater than any person, more important than any subject, more powerful in collective-thinking, more inspir- ing in loyalty and in self-control: an institution that has mushroomed in ottr tnidst to shed its light of leadership over the community, to spread its rays ol' idealism, friendship, and brotherlyflove, of sympathy and service, and of respect for eaeh other .... . . .
