DR. JAMES S. COLLINS, Principal Dr. Collins has shown a sincere personal interest in the students of Southern. He has encouraged us to make the most of every day we spend here. He says, “Time is that part of duration which may best be measured, not by the clock, but the consequences which accrue from premeditated @amens’ This idea places a premium on the need for a kind of educational preparation that will enable each youth in our society to plan and manage his affairs in such a way that in adult life he will bring happiness and security to himself and his family and be able to make desirable contributions to those with whom he works, associates, and communicates.
