NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY Anne Hoopengardner, Janet Hixon, Justine Hoopengardner, and Mac Miller were selected for meeting standards set by the faculty council with recommendations from the teaching staff. They were inducted at the Scholastic Awards Ceremony III on April 26. This year's service to others is the chapter project of co-hosting with the NJHS the Scholastic Awards Banquet and Ceremony. Individual service projects have been assisting with typing of planned courses, the school carnival, Bloodmobile, repair of school sign, computer classes, writing news articles, tutoring, and serving as student representative to the school board. As part of their educational experience, the NHS and NJHS traveled to Williamsburg, VA and toured the historic area and the campus of the College of William and Mary.
