Look back. Remember the years we spent waiting in the j wings? M r REMEMBER... ' Guiseppe the Barber... “The Doctor In Spite of Himself ... gym-suits that walk home by themselves ... jars of pickled worms in Biology class ... lunch with good ole Woody Wood- pecker ... “When you get to be Seniors, you’ll understand” ... “now girls” ... and the thought for today is ... bedlam? ... Christmas caroling through the halls ... “You think you’re gonna pass me in the lunch line, do ya?” ... FINALLY getting Driver’s | Ed ... zumm ... zumm ... zumm ... remember? We’ve reached the footlights now. So, with our graduation bringing down the curtain, we back up- and move on to another show, in another place, for another opening. tr vC. xv cy 4.vAtr 1 L IT, pj M3 H M w f SCHOOL BOARD ROW 1: Walter Block, Benjamin Truax, Vaughn Younker. CLASS HISTORY We, the class of 1973, entered our Freshman year with “high hopes” and a membership of 75 students. In our Sophomore year we raised funds by having a pizza sale and selling Southern Fulton sweaters. Our class production “The Doctor In Spite of Himself’ was a big success. Our Junior year was spent in anxious anticipation whether we were learning our parts to “Up the Down- stair Case” or decorating for the prom “Journey to the Center of the Earth.” Then finally on August 29, 1972, we found ourselves Seniors! Fifty-three of us had made it. We worked on yearbook, bought announcements, sold candy, went to New York;and now that it’s all over, we find our- selves a little sad, a little happy, but a lot fulfilled. So look you must, remove the dust It’s better to wear out than rust. The alphabet we learned on the hill We use it in our typing skill Taxes, budgets, allegories- What ever happened to picture stories? Today we study history and math Today we have hobbies for fun Today we battle for daily lunch But tomorrow we’ll have only begun Conservation is in this year In science, home, and school; So plant some trees; Take back the bottles, please; And save your paper—that’s a rule! Merrily enjoying the day By singing and creating Even a motor which may seem dull Can be invigorating. A pat on the back And a friendly smile Will warm one’s heart Through life's long mile. The members of the FFA held a Flunt- ers Safety Program before small-game sea- son of 1972, sold citrus fruit before the Christmas Flolidays, attended the Farm Show in January, 1973, and participated in a Parent-Member Banquet in April, 1973. Girls joined the FFA for the First time this year. The food service class in home-econom- ics was a real success this year. Everyone enjoyed the food and the prediction is that there will be many “happy hubbies” in the future. 67 SOUTHERN FULTON ENSEMBLE ROW | rPum Lddy, Shawn Dcnecn.GithyHcndcrNh.il.
