Each year, with the graduation of one class, a new one takes its place, and thus the perpetual line of advancement continues. We endeavor to reflect with these pages the height of the achievement of our class. We hope the memories and events which we have pictured will return to your thoughts many times in the future, and that the students through this yearbook may be able to look back over your school life and recall many happy occasions. With sincerest hopes for an even brighter future, Jerry Beatty and Huldah Wilt The Editors TABLE OF CONTENTS Page 1 Introduction Page 5 Administration Faculty Page 13 Seniors Page 35 Underclassmen Page 46 Curricular Activities Page 57 Extra-curricular Activities H. CHAMBERSBURG DAIRY PRODUCTS 3 McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania IN MEMORIAM Homer E. Powell, an excellent student, was graduated from Southern Fulton High School in 1944. He then attended Shippensburg State College and, after graduation, came back to Southern Fulton to teach English and Literature. He was an inspiring teacher. Music was one of his main interests, especially grand opera and symphonies. Mr. Powell, who gave so much to so many, will live always in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
