Farnham, former owner of the campus land. Both Miss Chase and Mr. Farnham were present at the ceremonies, held on the dormitory quadrangle of the West Campus. Mr. Hickerson's widow at- tended the event and Miss Schwartz and Miss Wilkinson were represented by longtime teaching associates, Dr. Joseph Hoyt and Dr. Dorothy Davis. The dormitories, situated on a hillside near West Rock, were formally dedi- cated by the reading of a citation by the president of each dormitory: Miss lean Pieper of Wilkinson Hall, Miss Michele Morrisette of Chase Hall, Miss Louise Sanchione of Schwartz Hall, Miss Elaine Schultz of Farnham Hall, and Gerald Morel of Hickerson Hall. Other activities included an Organ re- cital in John Lyman Auditorium, an ad- dress on College Development by President Hilton C.
