eagle staff This year the EAG LE Staff was combined in a classroom with the Newspaper Staff. Karla Hilgedick was editor of the EAGLE with Jan Wintermeyer as her assistant editor. Roxann Jeffery served as editor for the BEAK 'N EYE, and Debbie Hudson helped as her assistant editor. The Newspaper Staff published ten papers. The final paper was a graduation paper published for the seniors by the juniors in the publications class. The EAGLE Staff would like to thank every- one for the opportunity to publish the 1973 EAGLE. 1 OWfRTVOlOP 7 0000 G H 0000 • 1 . X C V B N M 1 : Jan Wintermeyer works hard on the yearbook so she can take over the job of being editor. Genette Long and Melody Quinn decide on the lay-out of pictures. 25 Bonita Glascock performs the job of gluing down the pictures. Typing copy is a long job, but Donna Walls continues until she has her job finished.

The Student Council has represented the Student Body well this year. The officers were as follows: Pres., John Sappington; vice pres., Steve Morton; Sec„ Becky Williams. They all did an excellent job. The council financed the Sadi Hawkins Dance, which was a big success. They also sponsored the Homecoming Dance. Mr. Purvis watches over the meeting as the others listen.
