SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Student Council Repre- sentative-Kenny Bowden, Vice President-J i rr Griffin, President-Gary Winchell, Secretary- Treasurer-Eileen Hesse. Senior Class History The Senior class of '63-'64 entered their Freshman year with fifty members. The officers were President-Harold Sanderson; Vice Presi- dent-Harold Barnett; Secretary-Treasurer- Ginger Williams; and Student Council Repre- sentative-Terry Nichols. Our money-making project, selling stationery, helped to build up our class treasury. That year we lost one stu- dent, Ellene Pace, and gained two new students, Judy Pointer and Gary Winchell. Our Sophomore officers were: P resident- Wendell Cunningham; Vice President-Harold Barnett, Secretary-Treasurer-Jim Griffin; and Student Council Representative-Kenny Bowden. We lost three students that year: Loren Rice, Brenton Anderton, and Richard Schiradelly-and gained Julia Clark. That year we raised money by selling Christmas candy. Our Freshman and Sophomore class parties consisted of going skating and seeing a movie. Our Junior year was an important year for us. Our class officers were: President-Harold Barnett; Vice President-Kenny Bowden; Sec- retary-Treasurer-Jane Ranz; and Student Coun- cil Representative-Eil'een Hesse. In October of that year, we presented the play, Peck's Bad Boy. The cast did a fine job, and the play was a big success. During the Junior High Tourna- ment in March, we held a concession stand to raise money for our banquet and prom in April. The theme for the prom was Evening in Paris. It was a big event that we had looked forward to all through high school. That year we lost two students, Steve Bowden and Marion Brooks, and gained one new student, Melba Brotherton. Seniors, at last!! For our class officers we chose: President-Gary Winchell; Vice Presi- dent-Jim Griffin; Secretary-Treasurer-Eileen Hesse; and Student Council Representative- Janet Hamilton. The student body officers elected were: President-Gary Winchell; Vice President-Kenny Bowden; and Secretary-Treasurer-Janet Hamilton. We decided to have an outdoor party this year, so we had a wiener roast at the school and played basketball afterward. In March the play, Hot Ice, was given. This, too, was a large success. We lost one student this year, Mike Calvert, and gained two students, Beverly Ball and Richard Lair. We, the Seniors of '63-'64, are proud of the fact that we are the largest graduating class with forty-five members. We wish Ashland High School the best of luck in the future, and we are sure we will never forget it or any of our fond memories that grew while we attended school here. 23
