After considerable visiting and investigation we found that this class is fairing as follows: Lerov Relfsteck has just patented his new invention a no-shake pencil sharpener for Sarah. Joan Garrett is dean of the most exclusive girls' school in town-the How to Get Your Man. Cecil Sapp and Deanna are now the proprietors of the restaurant called the Mutt and Jeff. Mary Maorey, who used to be Ashland's best beauty operator, doesn't have time to cut her own hair; she's too busy chasing down the little Calvins. Jerry Arnold just passed us on his way to Buescher's; Gerald is still arranging his dates for him. Gerald Buescher is now shooting basketballs in his backyard while he is on his vacation from the St. Louis Hawks. We think he is trying to give Wilt the Stilt a run for his money. Thelma Nichols has the position of commerce teacher at our dear old Alma Mater. Carolyn Quinn and Charles Cantrell have come back to visit. Svlvia Winfrey is the court reporter, taking short hand at 200 words a minute. Timmy Little is now the co-owner of the largest dairy herd known as the Little Goettings. Lenora Relfsteck has just been appointed the head chemist at Dow Chemical Company, provided she doesn't prepare any hydrogen. Alberta Gilpin doesn't get a word in edge-wise, because Joe has finally learned to talk. Judith McDow doesn't pay Bill's bills anymore because Bill belongs to Judith. Saralyn Pace has quit pacing the floor. That's Gerald's job now. Dale White and his wife have just had twin boys, the spitting image of their father. Heaven help the teachers of old Ashland High. Tudy Nichols was so slow she missed the bus on the return from Taneycomo, but she liked the water so well, she now has her own private raft, Home, Sweet Home. Robert Short has just been kicked out of the Russian Consul General's office for losing his temper. Tudy Lane Williams and her husband Ronnie are walking now. Judy just wrecked the family car. Sarah Klrchner has just won first place in a beauty contest (that pencil sharpening surely gives you a fine figure.) Coach11 Kenny Bowden's high school five have just won the regional tournament at Prairie Home, Laurence Hazell has been appointed assistant professor to Dr. White on TV Physic which is currently being carried coast to coast, Dennis Harmon is going to night school. He has only six more hours to pick up so he can be a teacher of Problems of Democracy. Peggy Ashlock is now the commerce teacher at P.U. University. I wonder how that happened. Donnie Basinger has been telling us about the fish he caught on his world tour. (Confidentially, he only went to Cedar Creek.) Lois Acton doesn't have time to do too much as her quadruplet boys keep her hopping from one minute to the next. Margie Heath is doing quite well in the Wars. She is top sergeant of her outfit. Robert Sapp still goes from one Fox Holler to another looking for a mate. Lida Arnsmeyer's new beauty salon has Just received an Oscar award for hair styling in the number one motion picture of the year. Larry Arnsmeyer has been making headlines as General Motor's hottest test driver. Betty Weber and hubby have just moved into the Country's most lavishly built home, and they invited all their friends to attend the house-warming party. Class Will We, the Seniors of 1959-60, do bequeath these, our most important pos- sessions, to the progressing generations. To the teachers we leave our sincere appreciation for the help they have given us and the patience they have had with us. To our dear old Ashland we bequeath our undying devotion and loyalty. Leroy Relfsteck wills his crow call to Mrs. Martin. Joan Garrett wills her love for Wilson to no one. Cecil Sapp wills his two front teeth to Santa Claus. Mary Mabrey wills her love for Jerry Arnold to Sandra Harmon. Jerry Arnold wills his political abilities to Buford Scruggs. Gerald Buescher wills his athletic ability to Joe Stump. Thelma Nichols wills Donnie Perkins to Elaine Lewis. Carolyn Quinn wills her love for Jimmie Bennett to Bobbie Little. Sylvia Winfrey wills her ability to miss school to Katherine Murphy. Jimmie Little wills his sneak test previews to Ronney Manns. Lenora Relfsteck wills her homecoming crown to anyone who is charming enough to deserve it. 21 Alberta Gilpin wills her love for height to no one; she still needs It. Tudlth McDow wills her height to Charles Cantrell. He's such a little boy. Saralyn Pace wills her vim, vigor, and vitality to all succeeding cheerleaders. Dale White wills his carving ability to some good butcher. Tudy Kay Nichols wills her quiet voice to Sandra Sapp. Robert Short wills his curly hair to Margie Cavanaugh. Tudv Williams wills her blonde hair to Judy Sapp. Sarah Klrchner wills her walk to John Fewins. Kenneth Bowden wills his jump shot ability to Joe Rice. Lawrence Hazell wills his photographic mind to Emma Schneider. Dennis Harmon wills his speedy driving ability to Bobby Crump. Peacv Ashlock wills her love for Dale Lewis to no one; she wants it. Donnie Basinger wills his throwing arm and accuracy to Richard Cunningham. Lois Acton wills her vacation ability during school to Garrie Cole. Margaret Heath wills her red shorts to somebody; they don't fit her. Robert Sapp was going to will his get-up-and-go, but it got-up-and-went. Lida Arnsmeyer wills her quietness to Checkie Reeder. Larry Arnsmever wills his Tuesday and Thursday excursions through Ashland to anyone who has a car. Betty Weber wills her efficient ways to Louise Bockhorst. 22 Unceiisored Juniors Charles Cantrell Billy Luecke John Fewins Billy Richardson Don Perkins Terry Taylor Bobbie Cox Jimmie Bennett Elaine Lewis Buford Scruggs Rometta Richardson Andrew Winnecke Bobbie Little Palls Nichols, Jr. Juiiiors Joe Rice Emma Schnleder Gerald Andertor.
