Caring quiet, efficient, and lovely dis- position are just a few of the attri- butes which describe Holly Conner. Her willingness to serve as an office assistant during her junior and senior years has given me an opportunity to watch her as she quietly accomplishes the varied tasks in the office without being reminded. She has been a mem- ber of the National Honor Society for three years and has served as a tutor for students needing help in academic classes. Academic honors she had earned include the Spanish I Award in the ninth grade, the French I and English Award in tenth grade, and the Algebra ll and Economics Award in the eleventh grade. During her senior year she has been a member of the Senior Girls Club and has served on the Advi- sory Committee of the Career Club. Holly is a precious young lady whose Christian life is an example to all. Sheri Stricklin, a deserving recipient of this year's Hall of Fame, has an excellent grade point average of 3.5. Sheri is very active in school activities and she does a great job in everything of which she is apart. Sheri is serving as co-captain of the cheerleaders, and she has been on the varsity squad for two years. She was the class secretary her junior year, and is the senior class secretary. Her interest in drama was reflected because she is a member of the Drama Club, and she was in the cast of Brladoon. Not only has Sheri participated in many school activi- ties, she is also active in church and serving others. She was a member of the Christian Service Club during her freshman and sophomore years, and she was voted by her classmates as Best Christian Witness. Sheri is an active member of Broadway Baptist Church, and enjoys singing in the girls ensemble. W MM 'itll Jill' l ' him jjj

Wm HALL 0F Loved and admired by all-family, friends, and teachers - Wayne Ack- len has certainaly earned his position in the 1987 Hall of Fame. His talents and abilities are numerous. In the area of athletics, Wayne participated in football for two years. He excelled in wrestling by earning a district award his freshman year. Wayne's determi- nation also extends into the area of leadership. He was selected tenth grade vice-president, a member of the student council for two years and chosen treasurer his senior year. ln the area of fine arts, Waynes artistic ability, which is outstanding, granted him the Art lll award. llcademically, he earned one of the top ten positions in his graduating class and a place in the National Honor Society. Most im- portant of all, Wayne's contribution to SBEC has been his daily walk with Jesus. Steve Pattonls selection for the Hall of Fame was inevitable. The combination of talents, abilities, and character which God brought into being in Steve Patton made that choice certain. Steve not only possess out- standing intellectual ability but also has a dynamic personality with the desire to accept responsibility and leadership position. Steve has been president of his lunior and Senior class. He was Valedictorian of his class, selected as Most Outstanding in his Junior year and Mr. SBEC in his senior year. Steve has been an Honor Society member throughout high school and participated in math and chemistry tournaments at MSU. Steve also participated in football, basketball, and Drama club. Steve has been a credit to his school, a leader among his fellow students and a JOY to his teachers. W
