The journalism department under the direction of MR. W. K. WHARTON, Is the largest journalism department of any junior college in the state. It is divided into two sections, one pertaining to journalism as related to the newspaper industry, covering reporting, editing, and the management of newspapers. The other section is caHed reli- gious pournolkm and teaches the minister and his wife how to write articles and prepare! them for publication by the denominational publications. It also teaches the art of pre- poring and publishing church bulletins on the duplicating machine.
