Southern 15 again honored by being represemed among the slate Baptist Student Union Officers. Tommie Hinson and Richard Perkins were elected devotional vire president and music chairman, respectively, in the election held during the State B.S.U Convcmion in Little Rock, October 30-31. Baptist students of Arkansas met at this annual convention representing almost every college campus. Southern was represented by the attendance 0! nineteen students. B. S. U. REVIVAL 0THAR SMITH, Evangelixt Rev. Omar Smith, pastor of the First BaptisL Church, chcr Springa. Ark, led our annual student revival during the week 01' October 16, 1947, under the ausplccs of the B.S.U. The Rev. Mr. Smith conducted two services daily at the chapel, He also conducted personal interviews and group discussions for both men and women. Visible results of the meeting were three professions of faith, we additions by bapmm, tour additions by lcucr, and a large number responding to the call for chcdicalion and special services. K5
