sa ; F S oir Officers (L to R) Monna Reid, Secretary, Loma Finchum, Soprano Section Leader; ‘n Hampton, Bass Section Leader; Robin Newman, Alto Section Leader; Danny Otero, ‘nor Section Leader. SING TO THE LORD This year, the hard work and dedica- tion invested by the Southeastern Col- lege Choir truly paid off. The Choir was able to minister to a large number of people from different walks of life. Be- sides singing at churches (including lo- cal Lutheran and Nazarene congrega- tions) the choir was enthusiastically welcomed at the Lakeland Mall. The choir also took weekend trips to such places as Vero Beach and other churches in Florida. The choir’s director, Mrs. Meredith Sharpe, firmly believes in presenting a variety of musical styles in concerts. In this manner, everyone likes at least one piece that the choir performs. This phi- losophy has contributed to the warm re- sponse provided by the student body to- wards music presented by the choir. The choir is accompanied by the in- comparable Dr. Linda Ligate whose tal- ent enhances that of the choir. Togeth- er, director, accompanist and choir pro- vide an unforgettable musical experience. The choir must often pause to hear the expert advice of Mrs. Sharpe.
