STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION PURPOSES I. To help lead the student body in the perfect will of God. 2. To interpret student opinion and to bring to the attention of the school administra- tion student suggestions for the welfare and improvement of 3. To provide and direct a sound and workable program of extracurricular activities. 4. To promote the annual student publication, The Torch, and the monthly student newspaper, The Flame. the school. 5. To assist in the student missionary program. 6. To promote a spirit of co-operation and goodwill in the student body. The Student Government Association is composed of the following student officers: SGA President and Secretary, president and representative of each class, The Torch Edi- tor and Business Manager, The Flame Editor and Business Manager, Student Missionary Leader, Dean of Education, College President, and the deans of men and women. This organization forms an important part in student af- fairs in that it provides a well-rounded program of student activities throughout the year through the various clubs, school classes and student suggestions.
