CLASS OF 1982 You came to Southeastern from different communities and made friends. Four years have passed and although your education at Southeastern has come to an end, graduation promises a new and bright beginning. You have the tools for success in the working world. Use them to create and build and be proud of what you have done. As you face your responsibilities, remember that your friends at Southeastern, students, faculty and staff, are cheering for you. I am confident that you will succeed. I congratulate you and wish you every happiness everywhere you go and in everything you do. Have a good life. Director 3

DONALD E. GRAVES Superintendent SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL Brockton - East Biudgewateb - Easton - FoxuoRO - Mansfield - Nobton- Sharon - Stolchton - West Biudcewater To the Graduating Class of 1982: Although you people are looking back on an experience involving a relatively few years at Southeastern, I am conscious of the fact that for many years Southeastern has been affecting the lives of many people. In September of 1967, Southeastern was opened as a new high school for an incoming group of students. While the years have flown by, many significant things have happened and you have shared such happenings. Several students who started their careers at South- eastern years ago are now married and parents. Some of these people have been part of the working world for years and, in some cases, successful owners of businesses. As you step over the threshold from the world of school to the world of work , it is my hope that the experience you have gained at Southeastern will have been a major preparation for the years to come. The difference between school and work is as the difference between getting ready for the game and being in the contest . Getting ready can be fun and excitement underscored by a feeling of expectation. Being in the contest repre sents a time of proving oneself, underscored frequently by concern and apprehension. If the process of getting ready has been diligently pursued, then being in the contest will be like a strong footstep on the road to life. It is my fervent hope that the school has given much to you and, if so, will be a part of your cherished memories for the rest of your lives. Superiiilcndent-Director DONALD E.
