SOUTH EASTOM, MA DONALD E. GRAVES Superintendent Dear Graduates: Oscar Wilde has stated that experience is a name everyone gives to their mistakes . As you step over the threshold from the world of school to the world of work , it is y hope that the experience you have gained at Southeastern will have been a major preparation for the years to come. The difference between school and work is as the differ- ence between getting ready for the game and being in the contest . Getting ready can be fun and excitement under- scored by a feeling of expectation. Being in the contest represents a time of proving oneself, underscored frequently by concern and apprehension. If the process of getting ready has been diligently pursued, then being in the contest will be like a strong footstep on the road of life. I trust that you have prepared yourself well. I wish you the greatest of success. Sincerely, Donald E. Graves Superintendent ROBERT KONDRACKI High School Principal The time has come for you to begin your future in the vocational world. Southeastern has provided you with the tools of training to build a bright future. It is now your responsibility to give to your community and your country of yourself so that others may profit from your talents. It is my hope that as a graduate of Southeastern that you will contribute to the image of your school by always doing your best. My congratulations to you all, the Senior Class of 1981, and my wish that you will enjoy every success and happiness in the years ahead.
