VGDICMON Mr. Goodwin showed us the spirit and leadership which helped us, the class of 1 972 to develop. For this reason he will never be forgotten. He was an excellent Student Coun- cil Advisor, showing us that we should be at all times fair. As a Social Studies teacher he always proved to be a fair and honest instructor. For these reasons we the class of 1972 do hereby dedicate the 1972 Invictus to the memory of Mr. James D. Goodwin. 4

In other years, I have referred to the fact that Southeast- ern was a new school with many experiences to encounter and traditions to develop. With the graduation of the Class of 1972, it should be noted that our school has completed five full school years. Experiences hove been encountered; tradition is being developed. In many ways we have accom- plished in five years goals which other schools hove had sev- enty-five or more years to achieve. The success which Southeastern is enjoying is without question due in large part to the conscientious effort, ser- iousness of purpose and dedication to values of our stu- dents. We expect that the contribution to Southeastern ' s ex- perience and tradition made by the Class of 1 972 will signif- icantly determine the role of the school in years to come. The contribution of the Class of 1 972 to these factors is notable. I congratulate you and wish you the best of good fortune in the years to come. I SECONtySRV PROGRAMS Congratulations, Seniors, upon the successful completion of your high school career. The high educational level that has been attained during the past five years at Southeastern Regional Vocational-Technical School was in a large part due to the conscientious efforts of a dedicated student body to which the Class of 1972 made many significant contribu- tions. In this day of uncertainty, inrest and continual change, you are indeed fortunate to have the solid basis of a sound vocational training upon which to build your future.
