Laura Williams Wins Title Laura Williams, a Durant freshman, became Miss Southeastern 1986 dur- Ing a late February show. She was crowned by the 1985 queen, Robin Shaw. Special guest at the pageant was Miss America Susan Akin. Mistress of Ceremonies was former Miss America Cheryl Prewitt. Miss Williams won the talent com- petition. Traci Bond took the Crowd Pleaser award with ‘Pour on the Power’ and the swimsuit portion for the first runner-up fitle. Carla Horton was second runner-—- up.
