Headaches Headaches are a part of campus life. Too loud stereos, too late studying, too much partying or a case of the flu can bring on a headache. The cure — other than aspirin — is get away from it all by escaping to the movies or library or even just running around town with friends. (jEO’S Geo’s Drive-In. It’s an institution just on the fringe of campus. It’s almost a graduation require- ment to have eaten a Number Four or tasted the golden fries or sipped a sugary coke from the restaurant that has lasted 35 years. He does the hamburgers his way and what a way it is. Each bite is prepared to perfection and shows pride taken in making it that way. 21

Enrollment Enrollment is more than just standing in line waiting to see an advisor or dean, or waiting to have your money taken to pay for classes, or even trying to buy books. A major part of enroll- ment is computer cards linking the student to a particular class. Enrollment is time. It takes time to find the right class available and to go through the different lines to get the right signatures. It takes time to decide what direction your educa- tion will take as a student goes through enroll- ment. Friends Friends are the best part of college life. Stranger in class often become the best of friends whil working an algebra problem or struggling with research paper. Friends are there for advice or t give a shoulder to cry on when that special dat turns out to be a dog. This part of campus life i almost the best part of college because a friend i for life. 20

International students international students add flavor to the campus culture. Their presence includes a look at their countries and social lives “back home” in places most people read about and imagine as storybook lands. JuNKFOOD JUNKIES Junkfood junkies become prevalent durinc finals week or just before homecoming anc major tests. Donuts, cupcakes, colas and chip; become big sellers at the neighborhood grocer ies and coffee shops as those hooked satisfy their sweettooths and grease habits.
