Members of that first class of 1925 would hardly recognize today’s com- puter based registration procedure. Despite improvements over the years, however, little seems to change about registration. Though a much speedier process these days, registra- tion remained for 1975-76, another of the boring, but entirely necessary, facets of life at Southeastern. Long days’ work completed, new books in hand, and yet other groups of students were off, with new resolu- tion, to a new round of classes. Activities 19

Sorority Rush The welcoming atmosphere of the Panhellenic party and the warm casualness of the informal parties opened sorority rush. The secluded intimacy of the theme parties and the decisions at the preference parties added to that fun, maddening time known as sorority rush. The potential pledge began to learn something about sorority life at the theme parties. Then followed the preference parties where rushees went to list first and second choices. Finally, on that exciting day, bids were issued amid the cheers of members and pledges alike.
