Q1 5 2 2 J sixty-one The Annual Christmas Concert was held this year on December 19, 1958, in SE's auditorium. The first half of the program featured international Christmas songs. After the intermission, the concert assumed a religious aspect. In keeping with this theme, the vocal groups were dressed in choir robes until the finale when the robes were traded for formals. Mr. Kenneth Miller and the orchestra played compositions by Purcell, Strauss, and Anderson. The glee clubs performed under the direction of Miss Marie Curtiss and Mr. Stuart Eppinga. It was the night of the annual Flanagan's Fling sponsored by the Student Council. Tables were scattered about the Veterans' Memorial Hall, and corsages were given to the girls to create a nightclub atmosphere. The traditional Lad and Lassie titles were won by Chuck Keller and Lynn Knutson. After the crowning, Chuck and Lynn led us in our school song.
