dedication What makes a good teacher? We don't propose to try to settle that difficult ques- tion here, but we do know a few of the things that have undoubtedly helped to make Mr. Bogen the highly successful and respected teacher among the student body as well as the faculty that he is. An omnivorous reader, an ardent fol- lower of politics fthe battle is on at the drop of a word in praise of F.D.R. J, a practical student of American history fhe travels to any and all historic shrinesl, a skilled hobbyist the is expert in leather- craft and conducts an after-school class for interested students and faculty mem- bersj, well-traveled, happily married, and the justly proud father of twin boys fone's an engineer and the other a doctorj, these are some of the things we think that have helped Mr. Bogen to become a good teacher. The yearbook staff proudly dedicates the 1952 Aryan to Mr. Alfred M. Bogen. 'Q Al 8 2 it U' 98, f Q.,-.ff Mr Bogen shows his handicraft to Lois Johns.
