The school is large enough to offer the student an exceptional education and small enough for him to develop one-on-one relationships with teachers and administrators. - The students and staff intermingle in many school-related activities including camp- ing and canoeing trips. SGA conventions. choir activities, and educational trips to Washington, D.C., Greece. and Europe. U 4 ,ni El ,I 'tl L sl? iz 4 ? i i l Equally important, whether it be completely off-campus or seated on a picnic table during breaks, is the time spent aside from the numerous perplexities of school life. Here. maybe more so than in class, the student and teacher can commu- nicate as individuals with both mutual and conflict- ing interests and needs. There is time to learn from one another, to rein- force each 0ther's beliefs, and, dare I say it? to disa- gree. It is these interactions, whether they be politi- cally. religiously. or artis- tically oriented - or just plain small talk - that spawn a comfortable and creative atmosphere here at SCC.
