Message from the President for the Yearbook THE CROSSROI-KDS You can look back over your life at any age and identify strategic moments in your life - those moments during which you heard something, met someone, or said something which has continued to have an important influence on you. An individual, an experience, or an extraordinary, delicate revelation which changed your sense of values, and hence, your life's direction. Those moments are golden. To take advantage of them, we must be prepared to recognize the opportunities they provide and to seize upon them for enrichment. We hope the experience of our students here provides them with such moments of enrichment. And we hope that we have helped them prepare for the many other moments for enrichment which they'll experience. In fact, we hope we have helped them generate such moments for themselves and for those around them. These moments are the crossroads. You will have more, or less, you will use them well, or poorly-depending on how well you've learned from them in the past. And it we've helped you learn from them, we too have shared in the golden moments, and are richer for it. Thank you for that privilege. W. Ronald McCarter
