This year's Chorale was under the direction ofour music department's new chairman, Mr. Keith Iiggert. Witliin the Chorale this year were three smaller groups: the Trebelettes, a ladies' triog the Men of'Melody, a men's quartetg and the Choralaires, a seven-voice mixed group. The Chorale spent first semester singing in chapel, Monday livening School, and in the annual Winter' Musicale. As second semester started, the Chorale was occupied with perfecting the final touches behmre Spring Tour. lt was a mad rush to the final minute as they selected outfits and memorized music. Finally, the day came, and thirty-eight Chorale members, along with Mr. liggert and Mr. and Mrs. Wemtw, left for a ten day concert tour of' Georgia and Florida. They returned with exciting reports of'God's blessings on every perfbrmance. Throughout the remainder ofthe year, the group was scheduled in churches on Sunday evenings.
