P d prayed and gave thanks before his God . . . 77 E111 1 Daniel 6:10 ME In the quietness of the morning the man of God is filled with anticipation, as he realizes that today-even today-his Lord may return for him. His whole being responds with the prayer, Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Later, as he faces the pressures of daily life, he can cope with them confidently because he knows that his God hears and answers prayer. At the close of the day needs must be met, comfort must be soughf, and praise and thanksgiving must be lifted from the heart.
