Southeastern, through a well-balanced spiritual, academic, social, and athletic program, seeks to accomplish the will of God by pro- ducing men and women who are dedicated to Him. . The world today is searching for something-something to which they can cling and upon which they can rely. Such a search can be satisfied only in the Person of Christ, in Whom dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. A man of the world can see this reality of life in Christ as he beholds the daily walk of a Spirit-led Christian. The l963 GATEWAY presents a five-fold description of MEN OF GOD and relates this description to the students and faculty. His whole being responds with the prayer, Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Later, as he faces the pressures of daily life, he can cope with them confidently because he knows that his God hears and answers prayer. At the close of the day needs must be met, comfort must be soughf, and praise and thanksgiving must be lifted from the heart.
