After receiving his B.S. in Education from this college in 1963, he attended Indiana University, attaining the M.S. 1 Mrs. Mary Helen Flentge serves as Associate Dean of Student Per- sonnel. 1111958 Dean Flentge became a member of the staff at South- east Missouri State College. After receiving an A.B. degree from Missouri University in 1932, she was graduated from this institution in 1956 vvith a E-.S. in Education. Mrs. Flentge pursued her M.S. in Education at both Missouri University and Southern Illinois Univer- sity, attaining the degree in 1959 from SIU. Her understanding na- ture has helped many troubled students walk from her office re- lieved of their problems or with the renewed courage to face them. 1 s 5 A. ,, ,... V , U One of Dean Flentge's many roles as As- sociate Dean is that of Panhellenic Advi- fl sor. Here she assists a member of the Stu- dent Dean's office staff in compiling rush lists. l i ' f it g. li ii ll Both dignity and a sense of adventure characterize Dean Flentge. On various occa- sions she can be seen serving at a formal affairg however, she is e uall at home in Cl Y more informal situations and enjoys vacations such as her African safari this fall and trips to the Orient. One of Dean Flentge's duties isto advise many campus organizations, not only in the selec- tion of members, but also in the organiza- tional operations.
