I I Making His Own Kind Of Music I think I was about 7 when I first became interested in music, said Scott Stewart. My sister would teach me simple little songs on the piano when I was little. I started taking piano lessons from a private instructor when I was about 8 and continued with them fora year and a half. I started taking piano again at Webster Middle School in the oth grade, and I've kept on ever since. Scott has won several vocal solo awards at various contests and has won 3rd place at the National Team Talent Competition on the key- board. He has been offered several trips to Nashville and sang on Danny's Day. He plans to go to California to study music after graduation. 'IMusic has played a very impor- tant role in my life. lt's taught me discipline and the responsibility of practice, said Scott. In his own space, then, Scott Stewart is making music.
