-f. 3 ,q x -fan- 7595.4 Y N, 1 X i A A x The cameras are ready, actors wait- ing, directors pacing and finally we're ready for action. Action flows in abundance at S. E. Seldom will a dull moment be found in classrooms, halls, or outside in the parking lot. What would high school be without action? Imagine a class without a clown, a trip to lunch without the usual ten girls in a broken down VW, or a pep rally without a marshmallow fight. Pretty boring? You bet. Teachers and administrators com- plain about too much noise in the classroom and too many students in the halls, but what would they do with their time with no one to gripe about?

ln the making of a Hollywood movie, there is a lot more involved than the actors, director, and the script. The way all the components come together plays the most important part in the outcome. The same holds true for the students, teach- ers, and administrators in a high school. Each category plays its own part, and none can be overlooked. Administrators keep Southeast running, and always take the blame for anything that goes wrong. Teachers are hired to educate students Kas well as guard halls and stay after school for lengthy meetingsj thus giving students a pur- pose for being there. Students are the most colorful of the three categories. They are here to learn, but often find a lot more to do at Southeast than just learn. Each person plays a significant role, but each must have the ability to interact with others. Usually, this ability comes naturally to stu- dents, teachers and administrators at South- east, with a few exceptions when it's just one of those days , at such times, feathers begin to fly. With a cast of hundreds, naturally it's rarely Quiet on the set, but that doesn't mean all is not well at Southeast.
