After these came the coronation of Jimmy Depel as Mr. Melody, Thanksgiving and Christmas pro- grams. The girls Went again to Tri State in Enid. Sextel: The sextet competed in the Tri- State music festival. Linda Smalley, Sharon Schultz, Harlene Moore, alternate, Norma Abrams, Marita Muse, Alternate, Connie Gaines, Joni Caraway, Marilyn McCorkle, La Vern Carter. Septette: Helen Armstrong, Yvonne Alex- ander, Sharon Brumley, Ann Vaut, Mar- lene Husted, Pat Daley, Kay Day, Deanna McCuan Septette activities included a tele- vision audition, appearances in the Spartan Satire, Mr. Melody and Sparket Buddy COf0n2tl0nS.
