In addition to serving as his secretary, she keeps all school , , , . financial records, writes checks for payment of bills and assists in all matters of school routine. 70e?aandt44Z7 ww? MRS. BONNIE DRYDEN, office Although this was Mrs. Dryden's first year at Southeast, she has al- ready made a place for herself as a pleasant, helpful office worker. She assists in the details of school rou- tine, prepares bulletins and keeps records. We soon learned that alibis of dental appointments on Friday aft- ernoon didn't always excuse ab- sences and stories about car trouble didn't clear tardies. ,7w At times we have visualized our teachers outside of school furiously making out tests, grading papers and practicing writing F's with an extra flourish. But the pictures below belie our childish sup- positions. Seriously, our teachers were not only our instructors, but were also our advisers, friends and con- fidants. We are privileged to have been members of their classes. Donning Santa Claus hats, the faculty took on a festive air at the annual Christmas party in the YWCA's Venetian room. Here, Mrs. Simon and Miss Staley act polite while Mr. Condren makes a point to the notables at the head table. Mr. J. Shaw, what's the formula for making your hat stand up like that? C'mon, gang, itls coffee time! S0 went the early morning chorus as some of the faculty members headed for the cafeteria and an eye opener. Spotted here at the table are fleft to rightl Simon, Douglas, Baker, Dipboye, Eckstein, Win- des, J. Shaw, Hicks, Riley, Holland, C. Shaw, Condren, Mitchell, Staley.
