Biology classes studied ecological relationships in their surrounding environments, while Physiology classes studied the anatomy of the human body. Chemistry and Physics students studied gases, liquids, and solids, and various forms of energy and masses. Botany students studied the biology of plants. Mathematics point: 'Best job possible' We like to do the best job possible for the future so as to give the students the best background for col- lege, was the primary purpose of the Math Depart- ment, as stated by Mr. Doug Fulton, department head. This year, new books, as well as new concepts were presented to mathematic students. The algebra materials leaned more toward calculus while the ge- ometry books were not as rigorous as they had been last year, according to Mr. Fulton. He added that mate- rials for trigonometry were basically the same as they had been in previous years. Aside from Algebra I and II, and Geometry; ad- vanced courses in Analytic Geometry, Principles of Math, and Trigonometry were offered in the mathe- matics department.
