0 . . O Demetria Martin, Gina Durham, Bernadette Lee, Anita Fields, Marvette Artis, and Jermaine Edmonds participated in this year's Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Cotillion. The Cotillion is a formal affair which traditionally signifies young women who are ready to make their debut into society. Each year the AKA Chapter presents young women who have exhibited high standards of scholarship, leadership and service in and around the Greensboro community. Wendy Gearhart, Kelli Rhodes, Eileen O'Connell, Debbie Roberts and Paula Hill represented Southeast this year in the Greensboro Jr. Miss Pageant. Ot the twenty girls who participated, five were from Southeast. They were judged on their scholastic ability, talent, poise, and appearance.
