The I978-I979 season did not prove to be one of the most swinging times for the Falcon rackets. The boys team, coached by Mr. Hicks, did not win half of their matches although much of the individual competi- tion was extremely close. Miss Wilson's girls proved likewise, having one of those tantalizing seasons where things just didn't quite come together. However, the girls' team did compete in the first round of the district sectionals, but the boys' team, due to unfortunate circumstances, did not compete. Nevertheless, things do look promising for the future since several new players are expected, and with them the Falcons may once again become a significant influence in their conference. l3l
