Mr. Larson began his career at SHS in 1967 and has been a member of the Math Department ever since. A graduate of Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, where he still resides with the joys of his life, his wife and two sons, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters in Educational Administration from Worcester State College. For the past ten years he has been our school's Student Council advisor. Of the many Council activities during his tenure as their leader, he is undoubtedly proudest of one of their most recent, the raising of well over 32,000.00 for the Boston Children's Hospital. In dedicating this yearbook to Mr. Larson, the yearbook staff recognizes his many years of outstanding teaching and his many contributions to the students of SHS. One of those students recently said, Mr. Larson has helped us to grow and mature.
