Each year serves as a steppingstone to further his education, to develop his maturity, and to en- large his outlook on life. With graduation, however, a student's responsibilities just begin. His future holds many obligations which he must fulfill, many PROMISES which he must keep-the obligation to keep a vigil in democracy's behalfg the promise to live the way he wants to be remembered. In Commemoration of . . . As one of the guidance counselors at Southbridge High School, Mrs. Beauregard has certainly helped to direct the lives of many students. Her knowledge and experi- ence inspired confidence in her ability to help Seniors prepare for their future. All students will miss her willingness to help and her sincere interest in preparing them for their future careers. Mrs. Kathryn Beauregard In all the years Miss Howe has taught at Southbridge High School, she has proved to be a valuable asset to the business de- partment and has been an instrumental factor in making our chapter of the Na- tional Honor Society as successful as it is today. Her CHARACTER, SCHOLARSHIP, LEADERSHIP, and SERVICE have provided worthy examples to her students, her school, and her community. Lr-.
